          From A Jarrad: Julia was described as an illiterate domestic servant and sailed from 
          Liverpool on 9th March 1855 on the ship "Hotspur." She was accompanied by her sister 
          Johanna. On arrival she went with her cousin William Johnson of Moore Street Collingwood. 
          Julia went to Winniburn Station and worked as a domestic servant. She was described at 
          the time as, ' Irish and as sharp as a tack. '

      From A Jarrad per M Berry:  (1851 census he was living with his sister Sarah
      Tyler).  We know that William was admitted to the Hatfield Union Workhouse (Poor House)    
      the same year his brother John Charles Bawden was Exiled - (10th November 1847) aged   
      19years. Poor houses were for the poor, disabled, elderly and sick people and were  
      forerunners of hospitals and homes for the elderly. Some researchers think William came to 
      Australia. We have not been able to prove this.
